Having a parent with Alzheimers and also having worked night shift for 10 years, I experienced how the brain and body respond to chronic stress. This is where conventional medicine did not have good solutions, so I started to look deeper into the causes. I found that Functional Medicine had solutions to address the expression of chronic symptoms.

Pamela Peak became Board Certified in Internal Medicine in 1995, and recertified in 2005 and 2015.
In 2008, she earned the honorable designation of Fellow of the American College of Physicians. (FACP)
More Recently, Dr. Peak holds the designation of ADAPT Trained Practitioner from Kresser Institute, the only Functional Medicine and ancestral health training company, having finished in 2017.
In 2018, she completed further raining to become a Qualified ReCODE Report™ practitioner.
She continued to study even more in-depth with the IFM, Institute for Functional Medicine & obtained the designation of IFM Certified Practitioner (IFMCP) in 2020.
